detective fairchild is a whip-smart occult investigator and magician with a deep love for the supernatural. despite her skill, she does have a tendency to get sidetracked and can be a bit emotionally immature. she seems unfamiliar with the appropriate times to use "xD."

kiyana is very familiar with the ghosts in soho, and is quite popular among them, considered an honorary dead person. unlike most living people, she is able to see and communicate with them without the use of drugs, presumably via magic.

story

very little is known about their past. she explains that when she was a young girl, kiyana and her father moved from jamaica to the uk so he could pursue a career as a detective in the busy streets of soho. at that time, kiyana dreamed of becoming an actress. however, the unreported murder of her father inspired her to become a detective herself. while her interest in the supernatural turned that into her specialization, she always wanted to find her father's killer and make his story known to the public. as of present, both his body and his soul are nowhere to be found.

kiyana becomes well-known for their approachable personality and seemingly carefree outlook on life compared to the other detectives at her agency, as well as their expertise in the field. salome salvador, a mexican exchange student who is majoring in paranormal investigation, hires them to help study an odd phenomenon in which ghosts are roaming the earth for much longer than usual, kicking off the main story.

stats

kiyana is an outstanding magician, albeit a glass cannon, and is very vulnerable to other characters' magical attacks. she can summon fragile but effective revolvers made of blood and likes to use illusions for intimidation and teleportation for annoyance. she is the fastest character in the party.
