Eve Solius

Eve is a very tough individual, having spent many of her formative years in difficult environments. She is straightforward and speaks her mind when she feels it is necessary. Though she can easily get along with most people, she is slow to trust and does not give personal details out freely, and only her highest-ranking crew members really know anything about her. She is quick-witted and crafty, and can more often than not talk her way out of unfavorable situations, though she is by no means averse to using force if necessary.

STORY:

Eviess, or Eve as most call her, was born on the Imperial starbase Ra'Torra in 2384, three years before the Hobus supernova destroyed Romulus and Remus. She never set foot on their homeworld, but she felt its loss as the Romulan people scrambled to survive in the aftermath. Her parents were both Tal'Shiar agents, but they were slowly learning too much about its true goals and beginning to question Empress Sela's motives. In early 2397, when Eve was 13, Captain Serr, a family friend, managed to convince her parents to let him bring her along on his trade ship, Usa-ken. Shortly after they left, her parents mysteriously died, and the news devastated her.

Now without a family, she stayed on the ship for the next few months, picking up a few tricks like negotiating and talking her way out of a sticky situation, but never feeling that the trade business was where she belonged. As she was technically underage for working in an official capacity, she tended to hide in the engineering department and discovered a knack for working with machinery. At the end of those few months, Usa-ken needed to resupply—and they found Virinat. The colony was still struggling to survive, and while Serr had to continue in his travels as a trader, Eve decided to stay and do what she could for them. She managed to find a place in the colony working on the machinery there, and she was 15 when the I.R.W. Decius entered orbit in 2399 and its crew decided to make Virinat their home. She watched with a small sense of pride as the little colony began to flourish and the Tapping was established. When D'Vex brought a group of miners from Hfihar to Virinat, Eve found an almost immediate friend in Tovan Khev, and over the years the two grew close. One was rarely seen without the other unless duty separated them. And life continued peacefully on Virinat.

Until, in 2409, the Tal'Shiar came and destroyed everything.

In just a few short hours their entire world was turned upside-down. Eve and Tovan barely escaped with their lives, commandeering Decius and rescuing as many of their friends as they could. Now they've joined the Romulan Republic, and Eve is more than ready to take her revenge on those responsible for the destruction of her home, even as she takes on other missions.
