Beetle that Buzzes at Sunset

Black as a beetle, smooth and cunning.
A pest, a nuisance, a parasite.
Takes all that he can, and doesn't give anything back.
Eyes bright orange, like a blazing sunset sky.
There's a fire in his eyes, devious and sly,
flickering in the night breeze.
As the sun sets, he remains awake --
plotting, planning, deceiving.
He knows what he wants and how to get it.
He just has to wait.
Like the setting sun,
he can only blaze bright
when the timing is right.

He is highly intelligent, but lazy. Instead of doing things for himself, he tricks others into doing things for him. He's very persuasive and manipulative, taking advantage of the weaknesses in others. Beetle is good at lying and stretching the truth. He enjoys being in control, but in a way where others don't realize that he is the one that is in control. Rather than actually doing work, he leeches off of others.
