Oogedy was never a nice person, even before she was cursed. Being damned to walk the earth for centuries and having her beauty and privilege stripped away has not done her personality any favors. Oogedy is deceitful, continually enraged, and homicidal for the fun of it. Deep, deep down inside, there is a grieving and wounded woman, but do not expect to ever connect with her on that level. Oogedy Boogedy's true name has been lost to time, but legend has it that she started her existence as a beautiful but cruel mortal woman. One day, she deliberately trampled an old woman who would not move out of her way on the road with her horse, not knowing that the woman was a witch. With her dying breath, the witch cursed the woman and her horse to merge into one creature, creating Oogedy Boogedy. Oogedy is now said to wander the earth until Judgment Day, and currently whiles away her time by leading hapless travelers to their doom.
Livi and Oogedy have not actually met yet--Livi is an intrepid young explorer hoping to find Oogedy and bring proof of her existence to the world. She is outgoing, adventurous, and fun-loving--all qualities that Oogedy hates, naturally. Livi looks forward to befriending Oogedy when the two meet. She has no idea what she is in for if their paths should cross...
Karla has not yet met Oogedy, either--she is Livi's best friend and is accompanying her on the "monster hunting" trip. Karla is naive and a bit ditsy, but means no harm to anyone. Oogedy would relish the chance to destroy her. Karla had better develop some survival skills, and quickly!
Vickie and Oogedy have not yet made contact, as Vickie is Karla's older sister and a member of the group of women who are currently searching for Oogedy. Vickie is a tough, self-assured woman who cares deeply for Karla and who will do anything to protect her little sister. At present, Vickie does not believe that Oogedy exists, and considers herself as merely being "along for the ride" on Karla's monster-hunting adventure. This skepticism plays right into Oogedy's hands, and so it would behoove Vickie to become a believer before it is too late...
Eek and Oogedy are still waiting to meet one another, as Eek is a friend of Livi's and rounds out the members of her cryptid-seeking team. Eek had a dark beginning--she started life as a hellhound before being banished to Earth for daring to question a higher-ranking demon. Nowadays, Eek has discovered the joys of being kind, and dotes on her friends and on the exotic animals who live at her pet store. Make no mistake, however--Eek still holds all of her former powers, and will gladly use them against Oogedy if necessary.
Oogedy has only recently encountered The Grabber--they have lived in the Everglades for hundreds, if not thousands, of years, but are a very solitary creature. However, The Grabber had pined after Oogedy for a long time, and eventually worked up the courage to approach her. The Grabber is ferocious when threatened, but tender-hearted and protective towards the beings who they care for--Oogedy included. Oogedy is currently coming to enjoy The Grabber's company--and a romance may even be blossoming!
