Lightningheart

Lightningheart is a fluffy cream tabby tom with a small scar above his left eyebrow and curled ears.

He's sturdy and kind of compact, but not undersized. He's very pretty- just like, objectively.

Lightningheart is very genuine and friendly, but a little blunt and clueless. He doesn't always think about what he says, but it's almost always the truth. Occasionally he goes into "survival mode" and closes himself off, giving vague answers and turning very defensive.

He's usually very upbeat and energetic, tough. He talks very fast, which is kind of just a SkyClan thing. He is so very neurodivergent.

Lightningheart was born a rogue named Honey. He only remembers growing up with his father, who was bitter and abusive. Honey ran away when he was around five moons. He met a kittypet named Puzzle and introduced himself as Lightning. She told him about the warrior Clans she was friends with and escorted him to SkyClan territory, where he asked to join. SkyClan was in a period with less kits and accepted him, naming him Lightningpaw and apprenticing him to a warrior named Gingerleap. He becomes close with his mentor, but doesn't quite connect the same with any of his other clanmates.

He becomes best friends with Applepaw of ThunderClan, and joins her rebellion against her corrupt leader and mentor, Redstar. He leaves the Clans with her and a handful of other cats to form The Coast Alliance. Lightningheart acts as a deuty to Applestrike's pseudo-leadership in The Coast Alliance. A lot of things happen around him while he just lives his life; Applestrike meeting and becoming mates with the kittypet Bubble, Bubble miscarrying and a patrol finding an abandoned albino kit shortly after, the kittypet siblings Spinach and Goldie joining the Clan, a slight relocation of the camp to accommodate Palepaw's sensitive skin and eyes, a rogue named Ghost joining The Coast Alliance to escape abuse, which Lightningheart sympathises with and befriends her for, Ghost and Palespirit becoming mates.

One day, a pregnant tom named Kaprifol appears in their territory, asking for shelter. He and Lightningheart fall quickly in love, which only ends in tragedy when Kaprifol and one of his two kits die during the birthing. Lightningheart is possessive and overprotective of his only daughter Nightkit, terrified he'll lose her- and by extension, his only connection to Kaprifol. He starts to regain some sense with the help of Applestrike and his clanmates, starts letting Nightkit venture farther in camp without him, until she's a little ways into her apprenticeship when strange orange spots appear in her coat. There's panic through the Clan when no one can identify what is causing it, until Kitty, the confusedly named newest member of their Clan, recognizes that Nightpaw has the Amber coloration found in certain cats (Norwegian Forest Cats).

Despite the news that his daughter isn't suffering some strange disease, it still leaves him shaken and paranoid. He ends up asking a million more questions about what Kitty knew of strange and unique cat traits, which turns into them talking constantly. About anything and everything. They're great friends and having more people to talk to gets his mind off of his worries about Nightpaw.

sudden loss of motivation. quick run-down of whats still missing: nightpaw's warrior name is nightspots. theres another rogue named sorrel who gets the name sorrelfang. he and lightningheart and kitty are poly. lightning and sorrel are in love, sorerel and kitty are in love, lightning and kitty remain besties. kitty has four kits that she names after the seasons: newkit, greenkit, fallkit, and barekit. yes people mistake that last name for bearkit and get confused because shes solid white. uhhhhh thats all i can think of related to lightning rn
