Intro

Oswin is an adult male Jellybean Dragon who is essentially a clergy bean for a religion called the Sect of Kinship, which is a religion that essentially takes all the great things about all the main religions we would know and put them in a melting pot. He did not make the religion, he is just merely part of the clergy for it. It is, at its core, just a religion which practices acceptance of all kinds and are non-discriminatory, it's essentially a melting pot of all the good parts of all the major religions mixed together along with progressive ideas and acceptance of all gender identities and sexualities. It is not a cult, it is actually a long established religion (within my own JBD universe) and is one of the main religions and certainly one of the most prevalent.

Oswin definitely did not always want to be part of the clergy growing up, in fact he had wanted to be a police officer or something, but discovered a love for helping others during a particularly dark time in his life when his best friend died. It was not long after those events that Oswin discovered that what he wanted to do was work as part of the clergy and help others like he had been helped during his "dark age." Oswin loves getting to make a difference in people's lives as something like a therapist, without needing a degree. He enjoys more than anything getting to be there for happy occasions such as marriages, his religion's equivalence to "baptisms" for both children and pets, blessings, as well as helping turn around the lives of troubled individuals. Being part of the clergy for the Sect of Kinship really fulfills Oswin and makes him feel like he is making a difference in the lives of his congregation and the community around him more than he might have otherwise been able to do.
