yuri ōta, nicknamed goosebumps by her "victims," is a pure ghost who haunts a local playground. she has a boisterous, self-centered, and impulsive personality, but behind that mask is a broken, incredibly lonely little girl. she has limited knowledge of combat magic and illusions, primarily using them to bring her imaginary friends to life.

due to having a uneventful life, goosebumps tends to make rash decisions for the sake of experience. when one gets to know her, she's actually quite thoughtful and cheerful, and makes a great friend.

story

goosebumps died of illness in 1997 when she was 8 years old. she spent the majority of her life stuck in a hospital bed, with her parents visiting her often. though she loved her parents, she often felt blocked off from everything the world had to offer, including school life and friendships, so she came up with her own friends. her drawings of them can still be seen on the bulletin board at the childrens' hospital.

once her soul formed a ghost, goosebumps's bed was already occupied by another child. believing she was just having a strange dream, she tried laying in it once again, leading to her possessing a human being for the first time. over time she began to learn about her abilities as a ghost, and though she was glad that she could finally experience the world outside, her heart still ached with loneliness. she tried spending most of her time near a playground, but her influence began to endanger the children there, leaving it abandoned. she remained there out of spite until she befriended salome and kiyana, though not without a fight.

stats

goosebumps isn't very powerful as a fighter, but can fire a barrage of magical star-shaped bullets that add up in damage. she can also summon projections of imaginary friends to attack or defend for her. she's the second fastest character after kiyana.
