Baron remained a loyal servant to the Sage of Time. Some time into his occupation as his guardian, the first King of Hyrule, the last Zonai, was brutally murdered. This set off a chain of events that led to a dark individual known as Drekavac to become engulfed in the ancient evil of the Demon God of hatred himself, Demise. Succeeding the first king, Aurora focused completely on the defensive in order to withstand Drekavac's new and unfathomable power, obtained from stealing the Zonai King's magatama. However, this proved not enough. Under direct command of the newly appointed monarch, Baron led the assault on the opposingly newly crowned Demon King. It was a catastrophic failure, with the recently gifted master sword shattering from the battle. Worse yet, Baron was indisposed by means of near-fatal wounding, his vitality stripped harshly from him by the powers of the new and hateful magic called Malice.

...He did not realize, however, that the next time he would wake up would be tens of thousands of years in the future. After an arduous and long mission to finally defeat the Demon King once and for all, he successfully manages with the spirit of the Sage of Light to transform the Light Dragon that had aided him so dutifully throughout his travels. In front of him, the Third King of Hyrule, his Sage of Time, Shakh. This time, they were going to rule together, and harbor an era of peace.

Shakh is Baron's other half. He is the man that Baron has devoted everything to. His arm, his body, his heart, his life. Initially, he is naive to how much Shakh means to him, allowing him to open up and indulge in activities that would seem unthinkable if left alone with the other sages. But as time progresses... and sacrifices are made... Baron would do anything to reach him once again, to show him the love that sprang from its long dormancy.

Scorpio was deeply influential to his young development. He wasn't really sure what the relationship was like between their parents, but as a young boy he remembered showing Scorpio his first steps to combat. The two seemed completely like-minded, like peas in a pod. Though they drifted apart and went their separate ways, training in different methods of swordplay, they reunited under the mantle of protecting and serving the sages- Baron was over the moon to see him again.

Aurora is a subtle, yet powerful mentor. Baron has a strongly single-tracked mind, aspiring to improve his swordsmanship and be a greater warrior. But in every interaction of Aurora, he seems to realize he's neglecting... a lot. Baron is not a very 'think first' kind of person, often throwing caution to the wind and letting his instincts and emotions drive him. But with some unknowable wisdom, Aurora can identify the very thoughts and fears from a glance as if he's wearing them on his sleeve. Perhaps their circumstances are more similar than Baron might have noticed. All of the sages in some way or another feel alien and isolated, yet the loneliness and self-neglect Baron feels plays the same tune as the Sage of Light.
