Cerulyion’s ex boyfriend.  He is deaf and uses ASL (American Sign Language).  Generally carefree, charming, and flirtatious, you’d never suspect he’s a villain.  He is commonly hired to collect intel, due to his ability to possess other beings.

Amaranth is agile and well trained in hand-to-hand combat.  He can travel quickly through shadows, seeming to phase in and out with ease.  He’s able to paralyze foes by gazing into their eyes and giving them a glimpse of the netherworld he calls home, rendering them temporarily helpless with fear.  It is uncertain if these visions are hallucinations or reality.

He tends to be impulsive and reckless, which has resulted in his death once in the past.  Cerulyion managed to revive him using his powers of necromancy.  He is somewhat immortal now, so long as Cerulyion remains alive.  The two are close friends and occasionally still physically intimate.
