bio is a wip!! life has me in a chokehold

tugg is a supermutt, an amalgamation of breeds both big and small from all sorts of places. he was born a stray by a feral mother, and quickly had to learn to fend for himself from a young age. he has no concept of what "home" is, as he doesn't have any memory of his first couple weeks of life, just how difficult life was, never being able to stay in one spot.

despite his pugnacious start, tugg learnt that not every stranger is necessarily a danger to him or his way of life, and softened up. even though he still tends to be wary of those he doesn't recognise (for obvious reasons like suddenly being adopted or y'kno animal control), with a bit of trust bonding and time, he warms up well.

this dude simply does not care for the caged up, cushy life of a housepet. he loves his freedom, loves to eat what he wants, and can't imagine why any stray would want to be adopted into a home that restricts them heavily. his dumpster dives are the highlight of his day, an activity fun, rewarding, and physically demanding.

the chain he wears is a reminder of a time in his past when he was taken in temporarily by people who weren't all too kind to him. the experience cemented his firm aversion to having Owners and the "prison" he'd be forced to live in. tugg's very happy being self-sufficient, and he doesn't plan to change that.
