Bloom's love of music has always translated through love for his family  and his clan. He sings and plays instruments for them near-constantly,  even while doing heavy physical or magical work. He also loves to train new hatchlings to sing and play- the squeakiest voice or the clumsiest  claws can be taught to near-perfection if they put in the effort, and  Bloom will always be the best teacher he can be to his fellow dragons.

Strangely, he's not much for staged or paid performance. He gets shy and softspoken when encouraged to show off his skills in such a way, and  only by tooth and nail can he be persuaded. However, when he does get  over his nerves, he almost glows with the beauty of his music.
