"Handsome" is a descriptor he's heard time and time again. Deerpaw has always given off an air of regality, prompting those back home who knew his family and bloodline to call him the "Young Prince." Long and delicate, Deerpaw certainly doesn't fit the bill for a warrior, clearly built for more graceful activities meant for show. He's aware of his fragile form, and, as a result of his family upbringing, does his best to make himself presentable. He dedicates much of his time to grooming his fur (even when some patches refuse to be kept down), he holds his head up high when walking about, and he's careful to act in a manner that doesn't provoke aggression and instead unwavering beauty. After all, it's in his blood as a descendent of White.
Needless to say, Deerpaw's personality is rather disappointing. For a cat who was born with such prestige and taught to present himself as a prince, Deerpaw is most certainly the opposite of confident. He's quiet and shy, and always has been. Despite his talents and gifts, he's always struggled to make meaningful connections with others simply due to his own anxieties about meeting new cats. He runs the same worries in his head over and over again, enough to make him appear disinterested to those he meets. This invisible barrier between him and others is what makes Deerpaw a rather lonely cat, for he craves an intimate relationship with others yet can never seem to bring himself to pursue it.
However, a good portion of his traits are a direct result of his father's actions. His father, Night, was never interested in caring for him, and Deerpaw could always feel a bit of disdain coming from him whenever they shared the same room. Night wasn't the nicest of cats, and he would lash out viciously with his words with Deerpaw being the occasional target. Deerpaw most certainly became skittish and unsure of himself because of this, and he gradually become more and more obedient to avoid being snapped at by his father during his teachings.

Background
Deerpaw was born into a long line of rather established cats. Show cats, agility cats, it wasn't anything to snuff at.Early Life
- Born in September of 2019 to Night and Cinnamon as a breeding project. Quite small and weak at the time.
- Despite their status as best friends in the past, Night and Cinnamon’s relationship was rather strained, and the two called their mateship off rather quickly. Deer was shared between owners and families.
- Learns that his father had been courting a stray tom. Deer can’t help but feel a little resentful towards his father for not working things out with his mother.
- His large family had begun mingling with the Rosenest cats more often.
- Night and his new mate, Ember, had asked a Rosenest member for help as a surrogate. Deer would be getting younger siblings! Deer absolutely does not like that!
