🐝 Tsetse 🐝

Tsetse is a tough and scary drill commander in Bloodworm Hive. To his trainees, he is the stuff of nightmares. He has been known to kill standing officers, using his wrist spikes or his barbed tail, both of which are fatal in large doses, just for showing up late for a patrol. The Bloodworm Hive is number one in its security because of him. To show her gratitude, Lady Bloodworm gifted him a silkwing servant from her own. She didn’t send the most beautiful or the smartest, as she needed those for herself. Outside of his compound, Tsetse was known as a cool and charismatic guy to all the ladies (and even sometimes fellas) but each time someone made an advance, he shot them down quickly. He tended to come off as sharp, but when going through the daily routine of chasing away potential mates he always let them down easy, keeping his image clean in the public’s eye. When he received his new silkwing servant named Moth, he almost completely fell head over heels for her. Moth did not like him one bit. She had been growing up with hivewings treating her like crap, walking all over her and treating her as property. Heck, she was given as a gift to whoever this bumbling moron was. Tsetse treated her as a goddess, trying to get her to like him. This time the rejector was the rejectee. She was not going to just, like him. He would make sure she was comfortable, he would clean up so she wouldn’t have to. When she tried to cook him something, he would be right next to her to help her out. Over many months, she started to loosen up around him and actually begin to fall for this lovesick fool. In public they had to hide their relationship. They ended up having an egg together, naming her Sunflower. Hiding her black scales were easy and she grew up in a normal silkwing school, very much loved by both her parents.
