Hal

Hal (real name, Bathala) is a simple, young, 21 year old book store helper going about his normal, daily routine. That is until he witnesses an accident and is caught in the crossfire. Luckily, his abilities activate/awaken, thereby saving him. As he heads home, shaken from the day's evens, he hears an explanation from a formless voice that called itself 'Law'. It claims that he is a 'god' and have abilities beyond human comprehension. The catch is, however, is that each time he uses it (no matter how small or insignificant the action is) that consequences are always present upon using them.

Hal later realizes how much his abilities are that of a Monkey's Paw when he tries to save his friend from getting killed but the consequence he realize is someone else having to die, no matter how hard he tries to save them.

His abilities are far and wide with no limit whatsoever, meaning both concrete and abstract ideas are within his domain. However, no matter how small or big he uses them in terms of scope, there will always be some sort of pay-off. A little while later, he figures out a loop-hole and a way to play it out in his favor.
