Saph is a very energetic butterfly who loves exploring. She is willing to take the lead and protect those who can't protect themselves. It can get her in a lot of trouble, but she is trying her best to do what's right. That's why she became a herbalist. Her knowaledge of plants is another way for her to help others in a much smaller but important way. It is also a way she connects with her partner, Mint.
Unlike Saph, Mint is quieter. She prefers the quiet of the night, and tending to her garden. She still tries her best to be kind to others and not let anyone down. However she doesn't like being reckless, and unlike her girlfriend does her best to stand back and ponder on what the situation is. It allows her to become a great gardener and she has no problem sharing the fruits of her labor with others.
History
Meeting
The two insects had originally met in Whimser Forest. The two of them had been looking for plants for their respective occupation when they both came to the same one. They quickly became friends over their love of flora. It wasn't long until the two of them actually came together to form a business together, with Mint tending to the garden and Saph dealing with clients. It was during this time that they started to develop deep feelings for each other. Mint's shy blushes and Saph's loud gushing made it so they eventually agreed to date each other.
Dating
The two happily dated for awhile before deciding that they wanted to move in together. Not only did it make it easier to keep track of the flora since a lot of it was being grown near Mint's cottage, it made it easier to be together. The two of them are rarely seen apart nowadays, and can be found hand-in-hand as they run their shop and gather items in the forest. It isn't weird to see Saph loudly interacting with others with Mint observing by her side. They honestly wouldn't trade their life for anything as long as they have each other.
