It's a wonder on how you managed to even find my file. You must be a really good decoder, I respect that. Now on the matter at hand... I say, take a chance. Not everyone gets to read a council member's file in their whole career.
What you need to know about me is that I am no hero, not a saint, far from that actually. Do not view me as such. I have done many morally questioning things and have many regrets. But I have no choice. We do the dirty work behind closed doors so that humanity can live everyday normal lives without any cares in the world.
It brings me no greater joy than to see others being happy. In all honesty, it's heartwarming. Though it's quite rare to see here since everyone's so serious in our workplace. I apologize that this job gives off negative feelings but if I can do anything about it, I would. But whenever I travel to other places, I see families being happy without any harm. Makes me know that I'm doing my job. Not perfectly, but decently.
All of those positive feelings reminds me of the time I was in my garden. I miss the garden. Where I had nothing to worry about, but enough about that.
Let's go on another topic. Perhaps I can see you through that little camera of yours as you read my file. You do look awfully familiar. Have we met in a dream?
From what i witnessed, everyone's dreams here are interesting. Very Unique.
Playing with snow in a cold winter's day as it slowly turns into a burning apocalyptic hellscape. Or swimming with friends to swimming with the sharks. Although most people may call them nightmares, I call them dreams. Better than the alternate realities that I've seen. Am I gonna tell you what they are? No. You don't deserve that. What you're doing is enough, you don't need more on your plate.
Now don't look so worried, dear. I am no stranger. I am your boss after all. You may not have seen me in person but in a dream. You and everyone in this organization have seen me. Atleast once in your life. Baby, Toddler, Teenager, you name it. Now how is that? How could I have seen you? What's with all this dream nonsense? I can see everything perfectly just right here.
Perhaps in the dream I met you in, I was warning you about something. Walking on a empty road with you. Holding out an umbrella so that you don't get drenched in the cold rain. I was giving you some advice, i believe. It probably doesn't matter anymore. Probably.
