Apollo / 15 / Single

Apollo is a shy boi. He's constantly the victim of any bullying in his year, due to his intense social anxiety. Even some of the nicer kids do automatically label him the "Nerd", which really doesn't help his confidence issues.

He has one true escape though, which is theatre. Although he does love to read constantly, his one true favourite thing to do is act. When he sets paw on a stage, all his anxiety just vanishes. He can be whoever he wants to be, not just some weird nerd who nobody wants to talk to.

Well, that last part might not be exactly true.

Apollo found friendship in Summer, the enthusiastic, extroverted australian shepherd who never really thinks twice about social standards while hanging out with him. They have their own secret adventures every weekend, where they go hiking someplace or another in the countryside near Summer's house. They have their own special secret place - the abandoned remains of a theatre Summer found, hidden amount forest trees. There is evidence that there used to be a way more houses and there used to be more to the theatre, but now that's all underneath the ground, or blown away by storms and fire long ago. Through Summer, Apollo has started to learn to be more confident, and to try his best to overcome his anxiety and stand up to his bullies. Even if he does need her help now and then, probably much to his own embarrassment. But he appreciates it all the same.

Apollo was over the moon when Summer asked him to be her boyfriend, but that didn't last too long. Only in March, she asked if they could break up. Apollo was devastated, but decided that Summer's feelings came first. He would rather see her happy as a friend than uncomfortable as a girlfriend. Over time, they begin to rebuild things, and form a stronger than ever friendship!
