Heather's Family Tree

Edith

[ Mother ] Heather looks up to her mother more than anyone else in the world, even if she doesn’t often show it. She feels the immense pressure that comes with being in Hell's royal family.

Casper

[ Father ] He’s long been deceased, but she still feels his influence all around her. She wonders if Casper would be proud of the person she's become. Probably not.

Mammon

[ Grandfather ] A prime example of what not to do, she harbors strong resentment towards him because of how he treated Edith.

Aspidisk

[ Grandmother ] Edith’s mother, Heather was only allowed to see her once before Edith barred all contact. It’s for the best that she stays away.

Madame Fletcher

[ Grandmother ] Her Paternal grandmother, Heather, had no contact with her until very recently. She felt an instant connection and now spends as much time with her as her busy schedule allows.

Edward

[ Uncle ] A positive influence on her life, Edward strived to be there for her during her most vulnerable moments. Heather often felt she couldn’t talk to anyone besides him at times.

Barbiel

[ Lover ] It was Barbiel’s guidance during her time as a prosecutor that left a lasting impact on her, after her departure from his office they began seeing each other in secret.

Lawrence

[ Friend with Multiple Benefits ] A private eye, Heather often contracts him to follow up on casework. Outside of work, he’s kept her company over many nights.

Avery

[ Best Friend ] The adopted daughter of Beelzebub, they first met when Heather became Avery’s defense lawyer. Since then, they’ve maintained a close friendship, often confiding in one another

Melanie

[ Friend ] Melanie originally worked for Heather as an aide before she recommended Melanie for a position Avery needed filled. Heather took Melanie at the very beginning of her practice.

Shortcake

[ Friend ] Shortcake is the fastest dragon in the west; she first encountered Heather as a delivery driver. They saw each other frequently enough to where they were able to strike up a friendship, once Heather learned of her ambitions to become a lawyer, she anonymously paid her tuition. Shortcake is unaware of this.

Chetal

[ Partner/Friend ] Chetal interviewed for their position at Heather’s firm, they proved to be the best candidate out of hundreds of applications. She trusts them to handle business when she isn’t in the office, they are drinking buddies.

Francis

[ Close Ex ] Her childhood sweetheart and current doctor. He’s responsible for her transformation into who she is now. There is still love between the two.

Enoch

[ Close Ex ] A longtime companion and lover, she often posed as his muse. He was there for her at her lowest points in life, and she returns the favor.

Cosmia

[ Close Ex ] One of her most trusted friends, the pair have stuck with one another through thick and thin. Helping each other in their respective careers whenever and however.

Hollis

[ Close Ex ] Heather happened to wander onto his property after leaving a gathering with her coven, she thought it was a completely abandoned house. She was surprised to find a lonely poltergeist that had taken refuge in the home.

Kingston

[ Double, fuck this guy ] Kingston was her court appointed psychiatrist. He was allowed to have unfiltered access to the deepest parts of her mind in order to treat her. Instead of helping her cope with what's happened, he opted to suppress everything entirely. It was this suppression that allowed a relationship to “blossom” between the two, albeit short lived.

Gin

[ Fuck this guy ] They were set to be engaged until Heather caught him cheating on her with a colleague, she nearly killed the both of them.

Azazel

[ Awful ] Azazel swept her off of her feet after winning a defining case in her career, the two were considered a power couple of sorts. Things deteriorated quickly after Azazel attempted to indoctrinate her into his beliefs.

Ikeda

[ Friend/Client ] A close friend of hers, she makes sure he doesn’t get arrested and he keeps her company.

Mina

[ Judge ] Cosmia’s mother and an ally to Heather. Mina’s known as a stern but fair ruler who rarely gets rest. Heather looks up to her, she's considered becoming a judge once or twice because of her.

Beatrice

[ Threat ] One half of an annoying set of twins, Heather detests her more than the other one. What she wouldn’t give to snap her neck.

Beauregard

[ Threat ] The other half of the annoying set of twins, she’d also like for him to suffer the same fate as his twin.

Lucius

[ Friend/Gracious Host ] A recent friend, Heather enjoys his company to no end and wishes to see him more. Francis confided in her how strongly he feels for Lucius, she hopes for them to be happy together.
