Story
When the Newborn came into this world, it was dark and cold. It took a long time before Chi really understood what was happening around him. Various people coming and going, prodding and inspecting him. He could hardly move, partly from being new to the world and partly because strange magic was upon him.
He was constantly visited by the Priestess, who seemed to take the upmost interest in what he was and what he did. The way she treated and spoke to him haunts him to this day. She was the reason he was trapped and locked away.
Until one day an unfamiliar face appeared and released him from his chains. Quickly she helped him to his feet and before the two knew it the place was erupting into chaos. His running was clumsy but with her on his back the two made an escape and out into the world. It was hours before he finally stopped running and found a place to rest. Claudia, his rescuer, made it her job immediately to protect him as he rested.
The following days was full of caution and uncertainty as Claudia and Chi learned about each other and how they were going to function out in the world. Chi learned to trust Claudia, especially after she gave him his name. The two would bond greatly as they travel, until they come across the Dragon of Death, Plagueborn. Despite the horrid rumors and myths around Plagueborn, they turned to him for assistance, especially when it came to Chi. Now Chi looks up to Plagueborn in order to know what he is and what he can become.
