A stubborn guy juggling a few part-time jobs to get by before he feels like he can prove himself in the real world. As someone who's terrified they peaked in high school, feeling directionless with nothing other than a distant dream, he'll at least keep trucking on until he reaches some sort of dead end.
He's taken up two jobs for the price of one location luckily, part-time cashier and part-time babysitter at the local flower shop. Hey, the owner's a nice guy, and the kids are... easy? However he feels about it, he's making something, better than nothing.

clutch
The guy who coined the nickname 'Lee'. Not that it was a name Lee himself was stoked about, but it caught on anyway. Met in high school and didn't think they'd ever see each other again after graduating, but ever since Clutch found out Lee works at the shop next door of his favorite music store... he'll never hear the end of him. He's loud and brash... Lee can't wrap his head around why he's so captivated to stay around him. Always clamoring on about starting a band, and while it's Lee's dream, it just doesn't seem like a realistically stable commitment with this guy.
sarina
Known each other since middle school, sharing a couple interests and sticking to each other because of it. Most of the time... Lee can't deny he feels pretty behind compared to everything Sarina's been able to accomplish. They're not the closest knit as some best friends seem to be, but it's the best Lee's got.
Despite that, she's the most down-to-earth person he knows and gets along extremely well with him. They riff off each other well, even making a couple songs in the past.

Nice guy, it's barely a pain to work for him. He'd pick this guy to be his boss over any other stuck-up controlling manager in retail. Still, he's not super close to him in any way, and they'd both want to keep it that way. They've got enough things to deal with.

Yeesh, she's kinda like a creepy doll... doesn't do much, yet Jordan's always clinging to her. Lee would never say that out loud of course, especially to a kid that's a lot less physically demanding of him, but he can't shake the feeling she just... knows something that he doesn't. On the other hand, maybe he shouldn't say anything as someone who also has chronic RBF.
