Steadfast

A leech trained in civic duties, Steadfast is an extremely recognizable presence in her home city!

She's both proud and naive; her training is an ongoing effort as sometimes she doesn't quite understand human ethics and nuance over actions, such as smashing vehicles to make them stop for pedestrians, hoping it will get her a treat for doing a good job. 

Her massive size lets people ride on her back with ease, and she prefers city noise to quiet streets. 

To stop her from breaking things just to make noise, part of her on-duty equipment includes a drum for her to smack during off-peak hours. She's not very good at holding a steady rhythm with it on her own, but she's very good at imitating other people if they join in, often resulting in impromptu jam sessions in the middle of the streets. 

On occasion she's been known to participate in combat zones as a search and rescue, equipped with a set of armor, a saddle, and a different rallying drum to encourage the injured to make themselves known.

She's never seen out in public without some sort of clothing item, even if it's as simple as a bandanna or her boots!
