| EVERETT'S district also operates on containment but for a far different reason than ASHEMM's district. The council decided that they wanted those with this specific rummeon strain [same as EVERETT + DELPHINE ] to remain as pure as possible especially since they came in contact mostly with a race that gave no benefit to the original bio characteristic. as a result, they were contained in the hopes that the remnant genes would be as dilute as possible. The royal family that cain is part of is actually the group of district members with the SMALLEST amount of the rummeon gene, as a result theyre fairly useless. They are given the air of nobility so they don't mingle with the rest of the population and accidently increase the prevalence of the rummeon gene. The protective line/ the guardians are those with the highest concentration of the rummeon gene, their slight nobility and isolation also prevents the dilution/spread of the gene. the tradition has been passed on so much that noone really knows about it other than the full rummeons working within the district. the enforced isolation has accidently bred an arrogance among the population giving them all an extreme superiority complex. Everyone but those working to maintain the district such as everett. This is a very lonely and isolated job where hes treated as practically a god [his grace]. he despises his work but he gains additional presitge since his campaigns only run for about 2/5 of a phase. |
