One of my main characters, Sparrow is main character in my upcoming webcomic titled “The Voyager.” She lives in the near future, where space travel was pushed for as the only way for survival while Earth crumbled under the pressure of humanity. Currently living on a mothership, after the death of the second planet, she is the Commander of an elite exploration team that carries out missions assigned by the Council. She is the first female commander in that society’s history, which brings an unwelcome set of challenges into her life that other commanders do not experience.
Determined to prove herself in a male dominated upper crust, she leads fearlessly and under unforgiving expectations of her crew. She has a lot of enemies and very few friends, but she has the wit and sharp cunning to keep herself alive. She’s accustomed to fighting tooth and nail for every small step of progress, and it’s made her no stranger to getting blood on her hands.
