Barkstar

Barkstar was the leader of Treeclan for a long time, but he always hated Autumnstar. The two wanted to kill each other, and put their clans at risk for the sake of their animosity.

Barkstar was impressed by a young warrior Dappletuft, they became mates shortly after. Dappletuft did not like him back, but saw this as an opportunity. When the deputy died in battle, Dappletuft was made deputy. They then had power a little more equal to each other, and Dappletuft tried to advise Barkstar about the constant fighting.

When Autumnstar finally kicks the bucket, Barkstar called for a celebration. Dappletuft was annoyed about how petty their mate was, and decided it was time to end things. But Barkstar wasn’t ready to give them up and so he challenged them to a battle. Dappletuft accepted the challenge, even though they could die.
