Khem-Aptera

"Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet."

Son of Set and Nephthys, and younger brother of Anubis. Khem-Aptera was raised at his Father's side and seen how the Egyptians revered Set as the protector of Ra, considering his nightly duty was to protect him from Apep. When Egyptian's began to turn their back on him and forgot what his father had done for them, he took matters into his own hands. He descended to the mortal realm and assumed the role as pharaoh. Once in power, he put his father, Set, back as the chief god of the land.

Naturally, he had supporters and those who rebelled against him. When you are a deity, such things as a few mortals rebelling against you, it is rather easy to keep the outcry managed. 

Now settled and comfortable in his role, he has started the work of expanding his empire, not afraid to declare war in honor of his Father.

His brother and himself aren't in very good relations either after this whole schism. Anubis had sided with the mortals and had actually turned his back on his father. He took over the role as Chief of Mummification, and symbol of the afterlife due to his compassion for the mortals.
