A 'Speaker' - ie bland name version of a Truenamer lmao - who met Aesaelion years-years ago and applied a 'patch' to the words that made up his being, in order to suppress Allegory's curse. They did so mainly because it struck them as an unusual challenge, worthy of their power - Aesaelion afterwards begged them to teach him to be a Speaker, to save himself when the Rhetorician's work would inevitably come undone.

They.. didn't do that. Aesaelion had to teach himself Speech from scraps.
