Breath of the Hawk
Strength:
A sword style that is as brutal as it is graceful, Breath of the Hawk is derived from Breath of Thunder. Channeling strength into his legs, Hideyoshi can move at blinding speeds to deal quick and sharp blows. He was unable to learn the styles of Breath of Thunder, but after observing the way hawks hunt and catch their prey, he developed his own style. Breath of Hawk adds powerful striking movements with deadly precision. He moves around to confuse the demon, and at his top speeds can even create an afterimage affect, leaving the demon open to attck.
Demon Enhancements
Strength:
After becoming a demon, his strength boosts considerably and he gains new abilities, such as turning his hands into talon-like claws. His body becomes lighter, allowing him to sustain himself into the air for short periods of times, and he can change size at will. When pushed to dire situations, he grows into a larger, stronger but more demonic and dangerous form. The markings along his eyes grow and twist around his whole body, and his hold on his human emotions wanes.
Hawk Eyes
Strength:
Derived from Breath of the Hawk. Focusing his breathing and energy, he can give himself advanced eyesight. The world becomes sharper, and small details become clearer. Before being turned into a demon, this technique had a strict time limit: no longer than 5 minutes, or he may temporarily go blind. Not an issue afterwards, though. As a demon, Hawk Eyes is taken even further: he can see even farther distances with no time limit.
Metamorphosis
Strength:
Hideyoshi can change his appearance to anyone, so long as he's tasted some of their blood. The amount of blood dictates how long he can keep the form before reverting back, so a drop will only give him so long. Once he tastes the blood, he can change to that form whenever he feels like, but the time limit is the same. Even if he hasn't tasted blood, he can change his features in little ways, inlcuding making himself look as human as he once was. The amount he can change is limited, but can keep it up for longer. Because Hideyoshi refuses to eat humans, it's weak. However, he can give himself the features of any animals he's consumed.
Taiga Tenpei
「 Boyfriend 」
The love of his life. While at first Hideyoshi couldn't even remember his name, Taiga was persistent, and supportie, and kind, and sweet, and silly... Falling in love with him felt so natural. Not that he realized until Taiga was shouting his confession for everyone to hear. He wants to be there for Taiga just as much as Taiga is there for him.
Airi Minami
「 Little Brat 」
An absolute menance on Hideyoshi's life that he was forced to travel with. She's a brat, she's mean to him, and if anyone so much as lays a hand on her, he will not hesitate to draw his sword. They fight a lot, but she really is best friend he's got.
Natsuko Tachibana
「 Little Friend 」
A dear companion to him. To be honest, Hideyoshi didn't want her to join their group initially, but now he can't imagine being without her. Her quiet nature brings balance to their team. Hideyoshi loves when she braids his hair.
Chihiro Yukimura
「 First Friend 」
His first ever friend, even if it took him forever to realize. They met on in their adventures, and they slowly began to keep in contact. Hideyoshi values his opinion deeply, and considers anyone Chihiro likes good company like his silent little friend and his girlfriend.
Subaru Yasusada
「 relationship 」
The only Pillar Hideyoshi respects, and even then his patience is heavily tested. Still...there are times when Yasuada-san reminds him so much of his older brother.
