Bex and Coda each possess half of his once mighty being, yet its power lies dormant within. They were born into different families, a great distance apart, with no memory of their past life. Meeting after eighteen years, they are given the truth from a revered guardian spirit, along with a warning. The creature that ended their last life is now wreaking havoc throughout the lands hunting them. Now, they must embark on a journey with friends old and new to regain the power they once had, and stop this beast from destroying everything in its path.

For the majority of his life, Bex has wandered the vast snowy lands of Shira. Accompanying him are his boyfriend Vel, and best friend Ru, a huge wolf-like creature. Together they earn just enough to survive bounty hunting for the heads of monsters and humanoids alike.

Bex has a stern disposition, preferring to keep to himself a majority of the time. With a short temper, he's observant, sarcastic, and loyal to the few he holds close. He's a gifted fighter, armed with a diverse artillery of weapons. Unwilling to speak of his past or what he seeks in his travels, he now journeys to gain godly power only because he has no choice. He refuses to lose the few things he has left.
