Gryphon of the Temor Spire

Legend tells of a great tower that reaches into a dark sky. And guarding that tower is a great beast not unlike a massive raven. Perched atop the great spire, it seeks to route possible intruders away from its home. What keeps the gryphon bound to the spire? nobody knows... except that it defends its territory viciously, and that the beast will oft watch the sky with a forlorn look in its eyes.
