Description

TL;DR - French/Japanese introverted boy meets fortune-telling extroverted girl, girl is werewolf, she turns him into a werewolf to save his life after her dodgy background catches up to her, they then live on the run together for a while.

Jet was born in France to a French mother (successful businesswoman) and Japanese father (moderately well-off bar owner). His father never completely became a French citizen, so he only spent 6 months of the year in France and the other 6 in Japan. When he was old enough to travel, Jet would sometimes visit his father during those 6 months and explore the country with him. His mother would often be the one to finance these outings. Once he turned 16, however, she made it clear that she would no longer be his bank. She would still pay for food and the roof over his head, but he had to make his own money if he wished to travel.

It was around this point that Jet started to realise his artistic potential. He experimented with every medium - paint, photography, digital art, film, illustration - but one thing he adored was street art - graffiti. After developing his style, people (mostly in France) would commission him to spray murals on their walls. Although this earned him a little cash, he decided to also get a part-time job as a "Fubar Eats" delivery boy to really make ends meet. He kept this job until he was about 22, taking half a year off every couple of years to visit Japan again.

One night, Jet was delivering an order which happened to be to a house right across from a new circus. Using his half hour break, he decided to investigate the maze of pavillions and fairy lights. Eventually, he found himself in front of a fortune-teller's tent. Inside, he found a woman with one gold eye and a sweet smile. Little did he know, this would be the start of a beautiful friendship.

The two began to hang out all the time, realising that they had very similar interests (motor bikes, street fashion, art, parkour). Eventually, though, he was pulled into the darker side of her life. She was a thief, and she was in a lot of trouble. He didn't care about her stealing, but he did care about how this was effecting her life. At one point an assassin was sent to torture her for a particular item that she'd stolen. Jet happened to turn up just before it got really ugly, but this meant that he was in the assassin's way. He was shot in the stomach (ruining a perfectly good jacket) and left to die. The last thing he saw before passing out was a giant dog chasing away the assassin.

When he woke up, the girl was wiping his wound clean. Or, at least, where his wound should have been. It turns out that this girl, being a werewolf, had bitten him and turned him just in time to save his life. Normally, he would have panicked. He must have been in shock, as he took all of the information very calmly and methodically. He really liked this girl, and he was involved now. He realised that this would not be the last time someone tried to hurt them, and at least one killer knew where to find them. After a few quick goodbyes and a little bit of packing, the two began their lives on the run together and have been ever since.
