Welcome, the villain of our story. She doesn't want to be seen as a villain but she feels it's what she has to do, she lost her best friend, Rhys, when they were 14 and ever since that day she was trying to get him back by using time spells. These kind of of spells are very dangerous and require a lot of magic though, so she began stealing the magic from others to reach her goal, however her goal could have literal world ending consequences.
She's 17-years-old and has nobody left she can turn to for comfort, she's just scared and alone; figuring out that there could be even the slightest opportunity to bring her best friend back she jumped on it right away feeling like it's the only thing she could do in this situation. She knows that people could get hurt by what she's trying to do, but she doesn't quite understand the extent of this due to how focused she is on bringing him back.
The scar on her face is from one of her first (failed) attempts at time travel.
She has quite a hefty amount of self-esteem issues, feeling as if she isn't worthy of being loved, partially because she feels guilty about what she's trying to do and what the aftermath could be for others, partially because she feels like she's failing Rhys by not having brought him back already, partially because of how alone she has felt her entire life that she's somewhat accepted that maybe she's just destined to be alone; it's a mix of a lot of things really.
Enough of all the sad things - Behind all of this, Clock is genuinely a sweet girl who just wants someone, anyone, to care about her. She's sorry for what she's doing but just can't stop herself. She likes bunnies and used to have one when she was younger named Toffee; it was the only thing her parents left behind before they mysteriously disappeared. She loves cuddles, and despite people fearing her, what they don't see is things like her just sitting and cuddling her plushies for comfort. She's quite shy, however when she needs something for her spells she knows that it just won't work so, though she's quite silent during her "attacks" (using her power to her advantage to get whatever it is she needs, stopping anyone who gets in her way; though never seriously hurting them) she strikes fear into the people she comes across and it makes her so much more intimidating. Her voice is quite soft and high, absolutely not what people would expect. She's rather sensitive, but attempts to bottle up her emotions. Everything that's happened has left her kind of... super emotionally unstable; when she's alone she will have these outburst.
She was kind of forced to grow up fast, but at the end of the day she is still a kid so.
Her birth name wasn't actually Clock, it was Calista Surelli. With the disappearance of her parents and the death of Rhys she just started to question everything, who even was she anymore? She certainly no longer felt like Calista and so she started going by the name 'Clock'.
