Shadow

He began his life as a human. Just as plain, just as regular as another person. However, he had ambition. A desire. He sought to bend the universe to his will. 
To reach this goal, this man, who calls himself Shadow, began performing experiments that pushed the boundaries of what was possible. Eventually though, he succeeded, breaching the barriers between worlds, between dimensions. He uncovered hidden secrets, performed experiments on innocent people. Many of these experiments were exceptionally dangerous, and in his haste and fervor for power, Shadow would sometimes lose track of his own experiments.

This absent-mindedness would be his downfall, as one of his experiments managed to escape from him, though not before destroying Shadow’s eye. It was only thanks to his own good fortune that he had completed his ultimate formula, which he applied to himself. However, Shadow took his experience to heart, and began work on a new experiment. He desired to make an assistant for himself, one that would be able to help him properly with all of his experiments. Unfortunately, the first success, Prototype, wasn’t what he had envisioned, and thus, Prototype was relegated to guard duty, while Shadow started anew. 
Shadow’s second attempt produced Luka, the perfect assistant who could watch his back while he continued his path to ever greater power. His path was long and winding, but, eventually, he succeeded, injecting himself with a stable formula filled with Demonic and Cosmic Blood, allowing him to do what he had dreamed of for years: bend time and space to his will.

After that, Shadow began wandering the multiverse, continuing his experiments as his curiosity led him to new things to enjoy. Eventually though, his wanderings came to an end, as he found love, and thus, a home, in a dimension he had found. His love belonged to Clan Wruss, and after some time, he came to call them his family, sharing some of his riches and power with them in order to better protect them.
