RAY WATATSUMI
- Originally designed by KaijuSpit (2019)
- Current Value: $2000USD
- Third eye in reference shouldn't be drawn without him using his full lightning abilities!
- He can be drawn in any style of armour or clothing
Very jaded, very cynical, but with a heart of pure gold. Very kind because he's seen the worst of people. Loves to be challenged by friends, which is when he pushes himself to be better. Loves to share his knowledge of his craft with those with a strong willingness to learn. This leads him to take on occasional apprentices, who he trains in both the art of swordsmanship, and blade forging.
Enjoys the feeling of the sun on his skin, travelling, eating at various restaurants across Anima, and collecting a myriad of trinkets from beings he meets along his journey.
- He has never once lost a duel
- His favourite food is all types of gyoza and dumplings
- Upon the liberation of Interoculus, he made a living of selling his own skin oil to town forgemasters across Oakwood
- Collects swords of fallen dictators, and re-forges their blades into weapons for re-distribution into the communities they once ruled over
- Ray will only participate in wars that are started to resist selfish, highly destructive, or dictatorial forces
- Ray was created in 2019 by KaijuSpit!
- Dislikes very hot weather, and listening to people complain. Cannot stand the 'show-off' type
- Only ever uses the sands of Hyy'ura Taanil to create mould casts, as it is highly temperature resistant
Serves under T'seykin as a Guardian of Anima. Was once a demon who came from Orcus as part of the Demonic migration in the 320s. Helped to establish peace across Interoculus, and helped to usher in a new, populated city at the Limbo Gate. T'seykin made him Guardian of War and Weaponry after he demonstrated his true strength and leadership in all four of the Interoculus civil wars between years 503-885. Fought for the re-opening of the borders between Interoculus and Oakwood, leading a fellowship of notable demonic beings to speak with the Stormlings of Anima. As trade for the liberation of the beings of Interoculus, he gave up his personal integrity by allowing the Grandmaster Stormlings to 'mark' him, so that they know his every movement throughout Anima.
However, when the Stormlings were eradicated by the Aryjak in 3035, and all the Grandmasters perished, the mark's seal broke, allowing him access to Stormling abilities. Spent time between years 900 and 3000 helping various factions and councils around Anima to establish peace through strategic war efforts, and helping the various races establish solid forging techniques through lent fire-power. When the Aryjak was activated however, he quickly lost recognition as entire species were wiped out one at a time with each awakening.
Now roams Anima retired as an unknown, forgotten hero, although he's changed with time to prefer it this way. Spends his time casually existing and enjoying life, and can be frequently found visiting and living with the Therosaurids in Septentriora. Craves the old ways, but no motivation to establish them once more due to his jaded demeanor.
