Backstory

Mana started off as one dessert worm, then merged with another worm to make two, then ten, then 31, then 100, then 1457- and so forth. Then that collective pile of worms grew a conscience and formed into a man, calling themselves "Mana". They stole some clothes from a shop and then found an abandoned house out in the desert during a sand storm. Within that house, they found old books on ancient dessert magic, and from that point on Mana began to educate himself in the way of becoming a mage. Now armed with proficient skills in ancient magic and street smarts, Mana has made himself quite the well-known mage within the desert. Eventually, that lead him to become friends with the royalty of the dessert and even, later on, becoming a member of the magic council.
