Liandri's egg was left behind after her parents died in a Hunt on Earth. Found by scientists in the rainforest in Congo, they studied the strange large egg for several months before witnessing it hatching, believing to have discovered a new species.
However, the cub that hatched from the egg was clearly having trouble surviving, and in fear of losing their only sample, the scientists took her in, quickly discovering her need for a vastly different atmosphere.
