Story

Kazas is the crown prince of a small triton nation. As a child he witnessed his mother, whom he was incredibly close with, taken away by people on the surface while they were spending the day on the beach. There was nothing that could be done to save her and she was lost to them forever and presumed dead.

As he grew older he began to hate surface dwellers for what they'd done but it soon turned into a supriotity complex. He believed that surface dwellers didn't know anything other than the selfishness and violence that he'd witnessed that day and that tritons are their saviors.

His views became problematic to his father who was trying his hardest to honor his wife's wishes to make peace with the surface once again. And when Kazas pulled a particularly detrimental prank during a confrence with a surface representative he snapped. He was arrested and then exiled to the surface until he could learn how to get along with them.

During his exile he joined a pirate crew to prove his father wrong and show him that surface dweller's were all just as selfish as he believed.
