Personality: Emerald has a complex personality as a result of immortality and trauma. He likes to be respected and listened to, so he is easily angered when he isn’t. He is a little too altruistic when he’s in a clear state of mind, willing to do what is right for everyone even at a cost to himself. He is also known to be selfish, though, when he feels he is being betrayed or disrespected. He will go to the extremes to exact revenge on others and tries to justify his actions to himself even though he feels guilt. He tends to lash out as a result of never resolving any of the emotions he’s pent up for so long. He is very logical and good at making plans, but oftentimes lacks common sense on a personal level. His physical appearance changes at different parts of the story.
