Yxes are typically slightly-to-very unintelligent lackeys but Yaya is abnormally smart and longs for a control she believes is beyond her.

Like most Yxes babies, she was born as a set of twins with her technically-younger sister Li-Li. The two inseparable since birth with the little one always happily and enthusiastically waddling after her.

While Li-Li is the picture of Happily Complacent Yxes Lackey, Ya-Ya's always felt a call to be more in control despite societal expectations for her to go into service of a more aggressive species and be a cog in the machine. Even now as she's followed the very expected and typical route of "find a K'vaar commander and work under her" she feels a call to be something more.

Their latest target, Raven, brings her to a much less sophisticated world than she's ever been on and makes her change the trajectory of her life.
