Backstory

Shion was born into an unfortunate situation from a union between Lord Garmadon and a weaver woman who was... much less stable than she let on. He was adopted almost immediatly by an oni, an old companion of Garmadon's who sought to give the child a better life than being turned into a spider super soldier. Yeah. It's weird. He was raised traveling Ninjago and grew into a powerful and rather unyielding ninja who loved his father, and soon his brother and the other ninja.
