- Tawny originally didn't have many hearts on him, but I added them since I love heart designs. His original heart was only the nose one.
- Originally, Tawny had a girlfriend named Emma. That is no longer the case.
- When he sleeps in the sun, his fur shimmers sometimes when hes dreaming and very relaxed. It always makes Tristan wonder what he would look like if he didn't have constant anxiety
- Tawny is a pretty tall guy, but hes so skinny he never feels intimidating. Some people are still scared by him and his neutral expressions though.
Tawny suffers from severe anxiety, leading him to constantly doubt and question everything daily. He needs constant reassurance from his boyfriend and qpr partner, something he always feels guilty for. However, he makes sure to give it right back to them when he can. Tawny loves taking care of his family, he's big on the belief that cuddles are the best kind of medicine. Whenever he needs to be alone, he has spots and places to escape to where Tristan and Twila won't follow him. He will always come back to them though, something they know. Tawny never leaves for long
I created Tawny on a whim around 3 years ago. I had this mental image of a soft colored yellowish-tan canine, and because I was obsessed with wings at the time of course I gave him wings as well. His original design included white wing tips and yellow blotches, which I've gradually changed. His wing tips are now the same light tan as his other accent markings, and the random yellow splotches have shifted to be the inner hearts on those markings. Tawny is one sona I will always draw for comfort if I need some, and I always imagine him being really good at hugs.
When Tawny and Tristan first met, they each thought the other was the most precious thing to ever exist. This of course went hand-in-hand with neither of them making a move because they thought the other deserved better. Eventually their friends meddled enough and sent them on enough pseudo-dates together that Tristan finally felt brave and desperate enough to confess. They got together on the spot, and since then they've never wanted anything more than the other to feel safe, secure, and happy, and they work tirelessly to maintain that for each other.
Tawny and Twila have been best friends for years. They are in a queerplatonic relationship defined mostly by the level of physical affection they're comfortable showing. Twila and Tawny will frequently take naps together, with Tristan joining whenever he feels like it. Twila found Tawny when he first showed up in their land, and they have been inseperable ever since.
Reaper and Tawny have never gotten along. Not that they would've had any reason to try, but Tawny tries his absolute hardest to avoid the hellhound at any cost. Reaper finds delight in tormenting the smol bean to no end, and Tawny refuses to let him get to Tristan in the same way so he continues to put himself in the line of fire when Reaper's near and ready to fight. Although they have gotten physical before, none of the scars Reaper gave Tawny are too noticable. Reaper hasn't faired so well though, and was blinded by Tawny after the tan wolf panicked because Reaper had him by the throat. While it was an accident Reaper has never forgiven him.
