Ruben is a charming guy who loves decking himself out in 50s greaser attire. He runs with a group of slick-haired demon boys, all of whom boast some different elemental mastery. Ruben, though young at only 18, is adept in pyrokinesis and loves nothing more than sneaking through to the Surface world on Halloween to pose as a walking jack-o'-lantern. He is able to set himself alight using the darkened areas on his tail and horn, both of which are spiritual gateways into the netherworld from where he draws his fiery power. He's blind in one eye, but when he enters one of his rare rages, it glows bright with dancing blue flames. Overall he's a pretty relaxed guy and would rather hang out with his friends than cause too much turmoil.
