Personality:

 POSITIVES

Passionate - Calluna loves to compliment, some might say too much. This farm dog loves giving credit where it's due. If she she's a dog worthy of respect, you're darn right she's going to be handing out praise like they're biscuits!

Non-Chalant- Calluna doesn't let a busy situation get to her more often than not. She believes it's important to keep a cool head, and keep it attached. She uses this trait a lot when herding with her sibling as the sheep and other livestock can be just as unpredictable as a paper airplane!

Loyal - Calluna is loyal to those she calls friends and devotes lots of time to helping out. She enjoys putting a smile on those she cares about, and those who deserve it.

Sweet As Candy - Calluna likes to leave a lasting impression on those she meets. Although not at all narcissistic, she does appreciate keeping a positive image of herself. She likes being known as reliable and work worthy. She's very kind to those she meets and tries her very best to make those around her comfortable.

NEUTRALS

Not Very Talkative Calluna is often a very careful dog and isn't one to reach a paw out first when talking to strangers. This includes making new friends unfortunately. However, If you'd like to spark up a conversation, she'd be more than happy to cooperate!

Sweet.. but sour - Although Luna tends to be an overall nice dog to work with, she tends to get a little impatient with other canines. Unless a dog is willing to work, it's likely she's going to get irritated with them. Though this doesn't usually show too much, it definitely does affect her opinions of other dogs.

Questionably Trustworthy - Calluna definitely is a sight for sore eyes, however she comes off as suspiciously welcoming. Her kindness may sometimes be passed as false kindness, leading to many misunderstandings.

NEGATIVES

Pushover - It may be nice to wake up and get to work, but sometimes a day off is calling. Calluna however just cannot simply say no to simple tasks her peers ask of her. She tends to push herself more than she should because of this.

A Flirt - C'mon now! Even a busy girl needs to have some fun sometimes. She likes to push some buttons with the boys, and maybe get some help with her chores because of this. Although this doesn't seem all that bad, it's a little selfish of her to lead such dogs on.

Slow Learner - She didn't get where she's at with herding just overnight! It took time, and a lot of effort to memorize strategies, and learn new crowd control formulas. It takes Calluna a period of time to learn new skills, whether she's passionate about it or not.

Backstory:

Puppyhood

In the very beginning, Calluna had what you'd call a comfortable life. She had two parents that loved her, a warm bed, food, water and a roof over her head. Luna grew up with two blood related siblings, and the three couldn't get along any better! The only fracture set out of place what that their humans had not planned the pregnancy, and there was no way the puppies would sell for what they're actually worth. So irritated, and stuck, the humans had delivered the puppies to a box infrom on a shop reading "Free Puppies". Because who wouldn't take home 3 beautiful cross breeds? Well- quite a few passerbys that was what Calluna was sure off. So many people but not one single home willing? Calluna and her sister Nutella had waited in that cardboard box for what seemed like forever along with their brother. Meanwhile forever was just roughly 24 hours.

A kind man had decided to stop and pick up the three puppies. He granted them a warm home, food, water, and something all three of them had missed- a roof over their head. This man had given them shelter until they stood at about 4 months. The puppies were finally old enough to at least have the feeling of a head on their shoulders. They started to get rambunctious. It soon became apparent that a small house like his own wasn't quite large enough to keep three herding dogs in. Not too far off was many farms looking for new employees however!

Young Adulthood

Calluna found a new home rather quickly. She was newly owned by a farmer in his mid 40's, very friendly, as well as patient. He worked with Luna through her rough training lessons, while also being assisted by the man's old large shepherd cross of some kind who she considered a father figure. This dog went by the name of Hennigan and they made the best of friends out of each other with what time the old dog had left. Hennigan taught her all he knew, being slow with her at first so she could get a handle on the concept of controlling such large flocks of four legged creatures. But Calluna loved it all the same.

One month shy of a year Hennigan had sadly passed away, leaving all his knowledge with the merle female. His hard working habits had been passed onto the smaller dog with great intention that she would carry out them- and she has. She serves her human well. Approximately two months after Hennigan's passing, a familiar face arrived on the farm for, a loss of her own. It was Nutella, her very own sister. The two continued to grow up together for several months, teaching each other skills they learned within those months.

Now Calluna is ready to take on the world of Canidale.
