Karma was born in the poorer warring regions of Vrialia, son to a human warrior and a demon father. His father was slain by demon hunters in the region, so Karma was trained from an early age to become a swordfighter to fight alongside his mother. When he turned 16, his mother gathered money from quests she took to move them into a city, realizing that although he is a good warrior, he is actually soft inside and did not wish to fight anymore. 

After he turned 18, he started taking up fighting quests in order to help his mother with the bills, since his somewhat dense nature and odd upbringing, as well as his half-demon bloodline made it difficult for him to keep work in the city. 

Currently, he works part time delivering groceries from local stores.
