Highlander (Highlander [FE3H])

A young soldier from a backwater town, [Highlander] enlisted in the army as a teenager as a means of earning money and fame and changing his status in life. He was assigned first to the wyvern barracks, where he bonded easily with the creatures. Because of his affinity for wyverns and his passion to fight, he was trained as a wyvern rider. He became one of the army's best fighters, and was sponsored by a famous general to attend the Officer's Academy and learn to lead troops.

[Highlander] is brash and cocky, and feels as though he's earned his arrogance. He's spent years on the battlefield to get to where he is, and looks down on his noble peers whose only accomplishments, he feels, are being born into the right family. He sees war as an opportunity and intends to take advantage of it. He's uncouth, but has a rough, homespun charisma. Despite his oafish demeanour, he's a shrewd and calculating fighter and a promising student at the Academy.
