A snarky child with spite-fire additude, Sophia had always talked about taking on the Galar Challenge to become the new Champion when older. But when the time finally came for her twin, Melody, their childhood best friend, Hop, and Sophia to take on the challenge none were more surprised then her when she actually became the Champion. With it being just over a decade since she took the crown, Sophia has established herself as a proper successor to Leon's legacy. Continiously striving to grow and improve the league, gyms and community. A initiative she will continue to push even after her reign as Champion ends.

Prof. Melody Harwood ( Twin )
Her twin and best friend, Melody was one of the driving forces behind Sophia's growth as a trainer during the Galar League Challenge. However, upon Sophia becoming Champion, Melody switched gears and put her force into a more scientific field, becoming a pokemon professor. Melody has become a leading researcher in enviornment and region differences amongst pokemon and few are prouder of that fact then Sophia herself.
Prof. Hop ( Rival/Husband )
Few people have a greater drive to succeed then Sophia, but Hop just happens to be one of those people. Originally Sophia and Melody's rival, Hop continued on as Sonia's assistant after losing to Sophia in the finals. Now a well established and respected professor, Hop has proven be a force to reckoned with. And found himself more actively involved with the league then ever upon dating and marrying the reigning Champion. The universe just seems to have a way of working everything out for the better when Hop's involved. Now if only he could manage to beat Sophia in a battle...
Gym Leader Raihan ( Reluctant Mentor )
Raihan did not sign up for mentoring a new Champion when he became the eighth gym leader. But unfortunately for Raihan that's what he got, not that he's actually complaining. Sophia's closest confidant and friend with all things league, Raihan has established just how fundamental he is in the success of the league and future champions.
