Basil Clockwork

Basil is a type of lizardfolk known for their short stature and slender bodies. What he lacks in size and strength he makes up for in wit. He is an artificer by trade, a master of invention and mechanics. He is also quite agile, a talent he frequently put to good use when he was younger. Due to being poor he could not afford the parts needs for his inventions, and so to acquire them he resorted to theft. Eventually he made his way up in the world, selling his creations and taking commissions from adventurers and noblemen alike.  Unfortunately while working on a particularly volatile project the device backfired, severely injuring him. The majority of his wounds were able to be healed, however the damage to his was irreparable point of requiring amputation. Now his missing limb has been replaced with a mechanical arm which he designed himself.
