Among the Kiiai, Dibella was proud and rebellious.  As a female, she made sure to garner criticism and attention; she would proudly challenge warriors to fist fights, proudly protest topless in the streets, and generally give the elders, juniors, and any other authority a massive headache.  She was so often found on Raphim that she may as well have been the mayor of the island.

When she happened to find herself in the middle of a raid with the Juuou, she snuck into one of the parties.  Once discovered, she challenged the leader of the raid group to "1vs1 me, bitch..." ... which she completely failed.  She was delivered to another Pakaasu, the intent being for her to serve him.  However, showing her fighting spirit, the Pakaasu, Q'Tarro found it far more valuable to train her as a fighter.  She proved to have quite a talent for stealth, and quite an ear for information.  She is now seen basically as his right hand.  

She is sent at least once a month to the mainland to check up on Q'Tarro's mother.  Occasionally she considers staying mainland, but the thought of abandoning Q shockingly distresses her.  She's come to realize her feelings for him may be something beyond a partnership, but she convinces herself he could never reciprocate such attractions.
