Cherry started out as a wolf roleplay character back somewhere around late 2011, making her my oldest character by a long shot. Back then named "Sakura", her design was unintentionally extremely inspired by both Gin and Weed from the Ginga series. I played with her for a handful of years but once the forums I played on started dying she kind of just stayed in the back of my head. On February 2nd 2020 I was feeling nostalgic for all my old, edgy, mary sue wolf characters and finally decided to bring her back with an updated design. Now I guess she works as a some equivalent of a fursona? Not officially but she doesn't exactly have anything going on when it comes to her backstory, or, well, any kind of story for that matter. She's definitely become a sort of a comfort character along with Crono.
