Ayer Stonejaw

Ayer the Earth Giant is the stern but headstrong of the four(?) giants. Representing the powers of Earth Mythicals, Ayer is the immovable rock that goes against all odds. He considers himself one with nature, but whether that’s due to his powers or his lack of speech is unknown. He has a hard time laughing at anything and is serious to the point where pretty much nobody with a cheerful personality wants to hang around him. He likes spring for the colors the flowers bring and the rain that feels great in his hair. There are small pleasures he has, but he doesn’t seem willing to share them with anyone. Unlike two of his brothers, he’s an introvert and sits quietly while everybody else gets involved and social. He was more than happy when the four of them split up. He doesn’t miss them. Nope. Not in the slightest. Not a bit.

A small part of him saw it coming, and yet, the words “I’m sorry” didn’t leave his mouth as easily as he would’ve liked. More than anything, he hates how minor inconveniences bother him like itches he can’t scratch. Though his stone-faced expression rarely ever changes, the few times it does, his stare gives way to a faint sadness or wry amusement. Because he has no way to vent his issues, some of the things he does can seem unpredictable and without reason. It’s not that he doesn’t want to speak, it’s that he’s afraid of hurting someone when his own emotions become too much for him.
