Born as a twin with her sister Odile, Odetta lived in the mighty noble house of the LeFays. Her mother Divinia runs one of the largest textile trading, dealing in silks and jewelries that line the houses of other nobles where as her father, Amancio who has been helping to colonize Chult. She lived in peace with her siblings, Celestine, a wonderfully gifted musician and older brother, Adelhard. But she was the closest with Odile. They were so similar, so inseparable. Kept as dolls, showed off for other families, it was hard to be treated as an object but Odetta survived the discipline so long as Odile was there with her.

Until she wasn't. In a game of hide and seek, Odile was lost and found later, drowned and abandoned. The family was never the same - Odetta became a shut-in, haunted by visages of her sister as the abuse from her family grew from emotional to physical. Her only comfort was the spectre of Odile who roamed the family mansion. Wanting to get rid of both of them, Divinia and Amancio enrolled Odetta at the tender age of ten at the church of the Raven Queen, where Odetta began her life of piety and devotion. Odile never left her, just got better at hiding from priests and the like - making Odetta wonder if it was truly her sister following her or something more sinister.

A beautiful and dainty aasimar, Odetta screams fragile ; like porcelain or a baby deer. She's a little too gangly, her torso too short for her long legs and arms, like she hasn't really grown into herself yet. Her hair is long and neatly kept save for wild red roses that seem to bloom from her locks. Albino, Odetta has the pale skin and red eyes, and an almost bruised visage. She wears dark clothing, greys and blacks to compliment her pale skin - due to recent events, she wears an eyepatch and hides the majority of her burns with long sleeved shirts and skirts.

With the mental and emotional fortitude of a chihuahua, Odetta is clearly an undiagnosed anxious teenager that second guesses everything she says and does. She thinks very little of herself, from her appearence, to her skills - and is desperate to prove herself worthy of a second glance, and chases affection from her distant parents and more-so distant siblings. She is kind, and enjoys "childish" hobbies like playing with hair, collecting flowers and arranging them in bouquets. Starved for love, Odetta has the spine of a willow branch and easily bows to anyone loud enough to drown any of her own thoughts - which is to say, very easy to do. Some might say she is naive, which she isn't. She's quiet and cautious and very much aware of the tenuous relationship she has with the spectre pretending to be her sister - but at her core, she is lonely - which is why she still keeps Odile around - regardless of the spectre's intention. After all, possession is a form of love, isn't it?
